Basketball Recap: Center Line Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Center Line had won three straight games and TE'REZ HOLMES did his part to make it four on Sunday. The Center Line Panthers came out on top against the University Prep Art & Design Mustangs by a score of 60-53 thanks in part to HOLMES, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

KAMEREN HIGGINBOTHAM was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and six boards. HIGGINBOTHAM is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Center Line's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for University Prep Art & Design, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Line will venture away from home to challenge Pershing at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pershing's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for University Prep Art & Design, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Southfield Arts & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
