The Glenpool Warriors won the last time they faced the Pawhuska Huskies, and things went their way on Friday too. Glenpool came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 49-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Glenpool.
Despite the loss, Pawhuska still got an impressive performance from Trenton Miles, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lane Kyler, who scored five points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Glenpool has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Pawhuska, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Glenpool won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. Wilson-Henryetta will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for Pawhuska, they will head out on the road to square off against the Cougars at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully the Huskies likes a good challenge.
