The Byron Nelson Bobcat will be playing at home against the Fossil Ridge Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought match, but Byron Nelson had to settle for a 30-27 loss against V.R. Eaton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Byron Nelson has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Fossil Ridge was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 45-39 to Southlake Carroll. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fossil Ridge in their matchups with Southlake Carroll: they've now lost five in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jarren Williams, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Canyon Collier, who scored nine points.
Byron Nelson has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-13 record this season. As for Fossil Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.
