River City Science Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Harvest Community Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
River City Science Academy suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-23 loss at the hands of Stanton.
Meanwhile, Harvest Community can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They breezed by Faith Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 78-40. The win was familiar territory for Harvest Community who now have three in a row.
Harvest Community can attribute much of their success to Adrian Walker, who scored 16 points, and Isaiah Bunso, who scored 16 points. Bunso is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Murphy, who scored ten points.
River City Science Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Harvest Community, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.
River City Science Academy came up short against Harvest Community in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 59-52. Can River City Science Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
