The Crawford County Eagles's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past Furlow Charter School 48-6 at home.
Crawford County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jada Harris led the charge by scoring 13 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Harris has scored at least 25% of Crawford County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakayla Peeples, who scored 11 points.
Crawford County's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Furlow Charter School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.
Crawford County will be playing in front of their home fans against Twiggs County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Furlow Charter School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Crisp Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.
