J.H. Rose is 9-1 against New Bern since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The J.H. Rose Rampants will be playing at home against the New Bern Bears at 6:30 p.m. J.H. Rose is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

J.H. Rose is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Washington on Friday as J.H. Rose made off with an 18-4 win. The Rampants haven't had any issues with the Pam Pack recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Owen Simmons made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Ethan Simmons was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ahmad Abulatifa, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

J.H. Rose kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, New Bern fell victim to Hoggard and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

New Bern now has a losing record of 2-3. As for J.H. Rose, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

J.H. Rose was able to grind out a solid victory over New Bern when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 5-1. Will J.H. Rose repeat their success, or does New Bern have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
