Baseball Recap: Brashier Middle College Charter Wins Going Away Against High Point Academy

Brashier Middle College Charter never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the High Point Academy Grizzlies. The Bengal haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Griffin DeLong made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. DeLong was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Brashier Middle College Charter is undefeated when DeLong posts two or more runs, but 2-5 otherwise.

In other batting news, Maxwell Cianfarano was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
