It was fun while it lasted, but Council Rock South's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Great Valley Patriots by a score of 45-42. The loss was the Golden Hawks' first of the season.

Council Rock South's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-1. As for Great Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Council Rock South will venture away from home to take on Neshaminy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Great Valley, they will host Kennett at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
