Jayden Barber put forth a good effort for the losing side as he threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 93 yards. Oliver Doto also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Sandwich, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 42-27 loss to Hudson on Friday.
Dennis-Yarmouth Regional bumped their record down to 6-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Salem, Somerset Berkley Regional, and Barnstable. As for Sandwich, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
