The Baptist Hill Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cross Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Baptist Hill was able to grind out a solid victory over Charleston Math & Science, taking the game 49-40. The victory was just what Baptist Hill needed coming off of a 98-9 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Cross can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Lowcountry Leadership as Cross made off with a 51-27 win. The score was close at the half, but Cross pulled away in the second half with 37 points.
Cross' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lauren Middleton, who scored 18 points along with six steals. Middleton is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Diamonique Nelson, who scored 13 points along with eight steals.
Baptist Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Cross, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
