Wayne County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Laurel Golden Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-1 last Tuesday.

Wayne County pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Laurel, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
