The Loveland Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 38-17 loss at the hands of Kings. Loveland was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.
Kings' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grant Nurre led the charge by throwing for 220 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Carson Lindholm was another key contributor, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Loveland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Kings, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Loveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kings will head out on the road to face off against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anderson is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
