The Pikes Peak Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Colorado Springs School Kodiaks at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Pikes Peak Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, everything went Pikes Peak Christian's way against Miami-Yoder as Pikes Peak Christian made off with a 56-36 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-8.
Among those leading the charge was Eddie Harmon, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Pikes Peak Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Wehner, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Colorado Springs School gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against Platte Canyon by a score of 41-31.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 2-0 season records intact.
Pikes Peak Christian took a serious blow against Colorado Springs School in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 74-45. Can Pikes Peak Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
