Wicomico extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-38 W against the Queen Anne's County Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Queen Anne's County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Queen Anne's County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Colton Starlings threw for 227 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes.

Looking ahead, Wicomico will venture away from home to face off against Cambridge-South Dorchester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Queen Anne's County, they will host Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
