Christian School of York's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 68-37 defeat at the hands of Conestoga Christian. Christian School of York has struggled against Conestoga Christian recently, as their game on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Conestoga Christian found their leader in underclassman Josh Boutaugh, who scored 30 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boutaugh has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bransen Weaver, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Christian School of York's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Conestoga Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
Christian School of York will head out on the road to square off against Dayspring Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conestoga Christian, they will be playing at home against Coventry Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coventry Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
