The Rhea County Golden Eagles will square off against the Soddy Daisy Trojans at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Rhea County didn't have quite enough to beat Notre Dame and fell  7-6. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Soddy Daisy, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. Everything went their way against Hixson on Tuesday as Soddy Daisy made off with  an  11-3 win. With that  victory, the Trojans brought their scoring average up to 6.8  runs per game.
 Luke Camp looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run any time he's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  Cooper Poe and  Easton Mulder did most of the damage at the plate:  Poe  scored three  runs while going 4-for-4, while  Mulder  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Jake Jackson, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
 Soddy Daisy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .515. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 The  win  got Soddy Daisy back to even at 2-2. As for Rhea County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
