This season hasn't been kind to the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans, who are still winless after their ninth match. They were beaten by Tri-Valley 83-20 on Wednesday. Upper Dauphin Area was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-14.
It was another big night for Caden Leonard, who scored 20 points for Tri-Valley. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Noah Porter was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Upper Dauphin Area's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Tri-Valley, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Upper Dauphin Area will head out on the road to face off against Northern Lebanon at 11:00 a.m. on January 6, 2024. Tri-Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Williams Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Williams Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while Tri-Valley is ranked 49th).
