Atlanta Girls' School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Atlanta Girls' School was led to victory by Ava Sanderson and Libby Knott. Sanderson almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds, while Knott scored 36 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Knott has scored at least a third of Atlanta Girls' School's points. Isabel Sanderson was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Atlanta Girls' School's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for Holy Spirit Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlanta Girls' School will square off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Spirit Prep will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Cristo Rey Atlanta comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
