Baseball Recap: Christ's Church Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Christ's Church Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the St. Joseph Academy Flashes. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 13-2 win the Flashes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Preston Dahlheimer looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Shawn Robinson was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Watson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Christ's Church Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-3-1.
