The Campolindo Cougars will face off against the Concord Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Campolindo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
On Monday, Campolindo made easy work of Hercules and carried off a 15-8 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Paige Williams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Clara Hwang was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Mintz, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Campolindo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Las Lomas, falling 10-4.
Monroe Allen was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Danielah Breaux also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Concord's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Campolindo, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
Concord's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Campolindo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. It's a different story for Concord, though, as they've only averaged .353. Will they be able to contain Campolindo's hitters?
