Atascadero took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Mission College Prep, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Atascadero Greyhounds came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mission College Prep Royals on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Greyhounds as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Atascadero's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Mission College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atascadero will challenge Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mission College Prep, they will be playing at home against Templeton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
