Make it five blowout wins for the Oxford Prep Griffins this season. Everything went their way against Eno River on Tuesday as Oxford Prep made off with a 61-35 win. Given Oxford Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while Eno River is ranked 629th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Eno River still got an impressive performance from Corey Amyot, who scored 11 points along with two blocks.
Oxford Prep has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Eno River, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
