Falcon has gone a perfect 6-0 against Mitchell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Marauders at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Falcon has seven straight wins, Mitchell has 13 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Falcon is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Durango, who was ranked tenth at the time (Falcon was ranked seventh). The Falcons were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Demons on Saturday. Considering the Falcons have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Talan Chubb made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Falcon got a massive performance out of Nash Holtz, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Holtz a new career-high. Broden Cox was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Falcon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in nine consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Mitchell fell victim to Harrison and their airtight pitching crew two weeks ago. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 18-0.
Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Falcon, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
Mitchell's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Falcon has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .571. It's a different story for Mitchell, though, as they've only averaged .356. Will they be able to contain Falcon's hitters?
