Despite the defeat, Tennessee School for the Deaf had strong showings from Lorenzen Shaw, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds, and Garrett Burns, who scored 26 points. It was the first time this season that Shaw scored 15 or more points. Mason Little was another key contributor, scoring three points along with two blocks.
