Despite the defeat, Tennessee School for the Deaf had strong showings from Lorenzen Shaw, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds, and Garrett Burns, who scored 26 points. It was the first time this season that Shaw scored 15 or more points. Mason Little was another key contributor, scoring three points along with two blocks.
Tennessee School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Bradley Knights, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7.
Tennessee School for the Deaf will challenge Bradley Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bradley Knights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rocket City at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bradley Knights is coming into the contest with four straight victories at home, meaning Rocket City will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
