With a playoff game on the line, Pender rose to the challenge  on Friday. They blew past the Chatham Central Bears 76-14. Considering the Patriots have won seven games by more than 31  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.

Johnson is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 106 every time he's  taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Austin Deal, who rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown.
 Pender was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 473  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 195  rushing yards in 11 consecutive  matchups.
 Pender didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over.  Demari Morgan led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.
 Pender has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Chatham Central,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-10.
 Pender will face off against Rosewood at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Pender's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last six contests. Chatham Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
