Leo extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 5-0. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Brooks Eagles. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brooks fell to 3-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Brooks' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Elijah Curl, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards, and Ryan Glover, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 14 points and four steals. Glover is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Malik Arogundade, who posted four points and nine rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leo will square off against St. Rita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Brooks, they will take on Agricultural Science at 4:55 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will be up against the Cyclones' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
