The Franklin Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bishop Fenwick Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
Last Friday, Franklin earned a 50-37 victory over Bellbrook. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Franklin has managed all season.
Carter Black continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Kai Cook, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Bishop Fenwick faced Archbishop Alter in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bishop Fenwick fell 42-31 to Archbishop Alter on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bishop Fenwick has scored all season.
The victory got Franklin back to even at 3-3. As for Bishop Fenwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1.
Franklin was dealt a bruising 74-34 loss at the hands of Bishop Fenwick in their previous meeting back in January. Can Franklin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
