The Wallington Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Hackensack Comets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wallington is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Joey Roman made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Alex Jimenez was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Victor Nazario, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hackensack, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over Indian Hills on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Comets' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Jambie Castillo tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Darius Pemberton, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Oates, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Wallington's record is now 14-6-1. As for Hackensack, their record now sits at 8-10-1.
