The West Marion Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. They took a hard 72-54 fall against St. Patrick. West Marion has struggled against St. Patrick recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Matt Krass, who scored 41 points along with five rebounds and two steals for St. Patrick. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Krass has scored at least a third of St. Patrick's points. Brendan Moton was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
West Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for St. Patrick, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Perry Central the next time they take the court. St. Patrick will head out to face Perry Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while West Marion will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
