Volleyball Recap: Clear Lake Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Clear Lake waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Nederland Bulldogs.

Clear Lake easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9.

Isabella Martin paced Clear Lake's offense, picking up six kills. Martin got some help from Amelie Webb and her 13 assists. Abigail Vogelmeier controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Clear Lake's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Nederland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Clear Lake has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bellaire on the 21st. As for Nederland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Angleton on the 21st.
