The Adamson Leopards''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 31-11 loss at the hands of Hillcrest. Adamson has struggled against Hillcrest recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Hillcrest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Asher Randall led the charge by throwing for 161 yards and three touchdowns. Jacoby Ogbonna also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Adamson's loss was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.1 points per game. As for Hillcrest, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
Adamson will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Hillcrest, they will head out on the road to face off against Spruce at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
