The NC GBB Academy National Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Lab University Prep by a score of 89-82. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Lab Rats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Aukuso, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Juwann Argant, who scored 22 points.
NC GBB Academy National's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Lab University Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
NC GBB Academy National does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lab University Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Winston-Salem Christian National knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 games -- so hopefully the Lab Rats like a good challenge.
