The Sierra Linda Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the North Canyon Rattlers at 5:30 p.m. on February 1st. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Sierra Linda, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-44 loss to the Bobcats. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sierra Linda in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, North Canyon had to suffer through a rough 62-20 loss at the hands of the Chargers. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Canyon has scored all season.
Sierra Linda has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season. As for North Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Sierra Linda lost to the Rattlers on the road by a decisive 57-43 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Sierra Linda avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
