Lexington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Izzy Saville out in front who scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Sydni Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Chapin, they bumped their record down to 8-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Lexington will face off against River Bluff at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully River Bluff focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Wednesday. As for Chapin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dutch Fork at 6:00 p.m. Dutch Fork presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chapin in South Carolina (Dutch Fork is ranked 16th, while Chapin is ranked 79th).
