The Humble Wildcats waltzed into Friday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Wharton 77-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacoryan Dickerson, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. JaCorric Allen was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
The victory got Humble back to even at 3-3. As for Wharton, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Humble will square off against MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Wharton, they will take on Montgomery at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
