The Bradford Owls are taking a road trip to  square off against the Port Allegany Gators  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Bradford has now lost ten straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since  the 25th.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bradford's offense. They lost  12-0 to St. Marys on Tuesday.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Port Allegany, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Oswayo Valley with a sharp  28-20 victory on Thursday. Considering the Gators have won four games by more than seven  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
Port Allegany got a  massive  performance out of  Brynn Evens, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  Evens a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Errick, who  got on base  in four of her six plate appearances with four  stolen bases, four  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Port Allegany  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .625. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Port Allegany's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Everything went Bradford's way against Port Allegany in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, as Bradford made off with  a  14-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Owls since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
