Solon were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Marion 47-10.
Solon's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 34 points in the first half. Marion came up with 7 to make it 34-7 heading into the break. The Solon defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The win bumped their record up to 3-0. The defeat dropped Marion's record to 1-2.
Next week Solon take on Assumption at 7:00 PM. Marion will look to defend their home turf against Clear Creek-Amana at 7:30 PM.
