The Fort Lee Bridgemen lost against the Dumont Huskies on January 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Fort Lee lost to Dumont at home by a decisive 55-40 margin. Fort Lee has struggled against Dumont recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Bridgemen players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Guy Vickers, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Greenberg, who scored nine points.
Fort Lee has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Dumont, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-5.
Fort Lee will face off against Paramus at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Paramus is on a five-game streak of home losses, Fort Lee a ten-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Dumont will take on Ridgefield Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgefield Park will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Dumont is ranked 88th).
