Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burroughs). They put the hurt on the Principia Panthers with a sharp 16-1 win on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Burroughs pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Principia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burroughs will head out to challenge Priory at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Principia, they will venture away from home to square off against Whitfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
