The Roncalli Jets lost to the Brillion Lions back in February, but the Roncalli Jets didn't allow the Brillion Lions the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Roncalli came out on top against Brillion by a score of 52-43 (the very same score they lost by the week prior).
Brillion's loss came despite strong showings from Amaya Brooks and Camden Hale. Brooks scored 21 points along with four steals, while Hale scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Roncalli now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Brillion, they have fallen quite a ways from their 20-5 record last season and are now at 2-4.
Roncalli will be home for the holidays to greet New Holstein at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brillion, they will head out on the road to face off against Valders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Valders presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Brillion in Wisconsin (Valders is ranked 92nd, while Brillion is ranked 343rd).
