Tyler Trapp put up the most hits he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. He scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-5. Lane Tech is 4-1 when Trapp posts two or more runs, but 1-5 otherwise.

Trapp's strong effort led Lane Tech over Von Steuben and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Champions are 8-2 against the Panthers going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
