The LaSalle Royal Lions won the last time they faced the Scheck Hillel Community School Lions, and things went their way on Thursday too. LaSalle came out on top against the Lions by a score of 50-43.
Caroline Barrabes had a dynamite game for LaSalle, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that Barrabes scored 15 or more points. Natalia Davila was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
LaSalle is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Scheck Hillel Community School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
LaSalle won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Sophia Diaz and Alexandra Gonzalez casar. Scheck Hillel Community School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
