There's no place like home for Howards Grove, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Two Rivers Purple Raiders on Friday as the Howards Grove Tigers made off with  an  11-4 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Howards Grove considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
  Trey Sixel and  Parker Kluck made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Sixel   tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned run or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Meanwhile,  Kluck   struck out eight batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. At bat,  Sixel  scored a  run while  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances, while  Kluck  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Jonah Walleser and  Brady Heling did most of the damage at the plate:  Walleser  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3, while  Heling  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Braven Wilson, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 On Two Rivers' side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Odin Clem, who  went 3-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 The  win  got Howards Grove back to even at 1-1. As for Two Rivers, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with that  loss, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Howards Grove will be playing at home against Chilton on Monday. As for Two Rivers, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brillion at 4:30  p.m.  on April 9th.
