The Boothbay Seahawks fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Madison by a score of 54-47 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Boothbay also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Finn Harkins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Spencer Wenners, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Boothbay's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Madison, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boothbay will take on the Roadrunners at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maine (Hall-Dale is ranked 68th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 56th).
