Softball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Wahama

Wahama came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Calhoun Red Devils. The White Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six runs or more this season.

Audrey Reynolds and Kate Reynolds did most of the damage at the plate: Audrey got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI, while Kate went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Kate has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kalyn Christian, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Wahama hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive games.

Wahama's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Calhoun, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Wahama nor Calhoun have any future games scheduled.
