It was a good run, but The Waldwick/Midland Park Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 42-14 loss at the hands of Butler.
Kyle Perry continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Butler, rushing for 115 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. Perry is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Butler also got help from Peter Calvi who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.
Waldwick/Midland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Butler, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Waldwick/Midland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Butler will be playing in front of their home fans against Verona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Verona is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
