They walked away with a 36-28 victory over Comfort. That's another feather in the cap for Blanco, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Blanco's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Capshaw, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mina Broyles, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Blanco's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-14. As for Comfort, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
Blanco will be playing at home against Brady at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brady has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Comfort, they will head out on the road to square off against Florence at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Florence is out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home.
