After a string of seven wins, Boyd's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to the Callisburg Wildcats on the road by a 42-27 margin. The Yellowjackets were probably out for revenge after losing 43-39 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Boyd's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Callisburg, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Boyd will be home for the holidays to greet Ponder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Callisburg, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Callisburg Wildcats take on the Whitesboro Bearcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
