Prosper and Allen are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2019, but likely not for long. The Prosper Eagles will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Allen Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Prosper sitting on four straight victories and Allen on five.
Prosper put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They never let Braswell onto the board and left with a 8-0 win. Prosper's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.
Meanwhile, Allen faced Guyer in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Allen came out on top against Guyer by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Three seems to be a good number for Allen as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They hit Guyer with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Giancarlo Ramirez,
Suliman Abu Jazar, and
Sebastian Sastoque.
Prosper pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matches. As for Allen, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
Prosper beat Allen 2-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Does Prosper have another victory up their sleeve, or will Allen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
