It was another big night for Lia Carter, who scored 25 points along with seven steals and five rebounds for Jordan-Matthews. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for her. Jada Scott was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds.
Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Jordan-Matthews, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
Cummings will be home for the holidays to greet Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williams presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cummings in North Carolina (Williams is ranked 178th, while Cummings is ranked 531st). Jordan-Matthews' road trip will continue as they head out to face Triton at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th.
